Award Description:
Each year the Coca−Cola Scholars Foundation awards a total of $3 million in achievement-based four-year college scholarships to 250 outstanding high school seniors from communities across the nation. The Foundation annually awards 200 Regional scholarships of $10,000 each and 50 National scholarships of $20,000 each. The Coca−Cola Scholars Foundation evaluates applicants on the basis of demonstrated leadership in academics, school, community and civic activities, as well as personal character and the motivation to serve and succeed. Semifinalists must complete a secondary application, and Finalists are given an all-expense-paid trip to Atlanta, where they participate in activities and undergo an interview.
Eligibility Guidelines:
Applicants must be current high school (or home-schooled) seniors attending school in the United States (or select DoD schools); U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Temporary Residents (in a legalization program), Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees; anticipating completion of high school diploma at the time of application; planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution; and carrying a minimum 3.00 GPA at the end of their junior year of high school. Applicants cannot be children or grandchildren of employees, officers or owners of Coca−Cola bottling companies, The Coca−Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries.
