Award Description:
The award honors excellence in leadership. Applications can be made in two categories: Youth Leader of the Year Award and Youth Group of the Year Award; to recognize both individual achievements as well as group progress.
Winner receives plaque; membership in NLLC for 2 yrs; Youth Leadership Development Workbook; honorary board membership; opportunity to speak at summit; 2 free conference registrations for next year conferences.
Eligibility Guidelines:
Applicants must be between the ages of 16-25; must write essay on what leadership means and how you have demonstrated leadership potential. Please include other supporting articles, clips; work and volunteer experience. Must also include a nomination by teacher or group leader via online nomination form.
