Most green rooms are your typical VIP Rooms, champagne, caviar, and lots of VIPS, but since the BR!CK Awards is not your typical awards show, it's only natural that the green room is not your typical green room. We’ll still have the VIPs, but we’re “greening” our green room in an effort to make our event more eco-friendly and less harmful to our environment.

• We’re using Energy Star compact fluorescent lightbulbs (CFL’s) from Tru Light which use only 25% of the electricity as regular bulbs and last 10 times longer.
• We brought in locally grown plant life
• All food being served in the room is organic and/or locally grown
• The celebs hanging out in the “Green” green room will arrive in Saturn VUE Green Lines, “the forward thinking hybrid that helps you go green without going broke.”
• The BR!CK Awards show has been made carbon neutral through renewable energy and efficiency offsests donated by Carbonfund.org. Please remember - reduce where you can, offset what you can't, and Do Something to make an impact! Go to www.carbonfund.org to find out more about what YOU can do!!!
• Eco-artware.com provided some great crafts, vases and trays that were used throughout the room. Eco-artware is a one-stop gift shop for all things beautiful, well-made and environmentally friendly.
