Why is art education important to you?

Art education is important to me because it is the basis of all creativity. With art education, students- the leaders of tomorrow- learn to utilize their creative talents and express them. A world without art education and hence a world without creativity cannot advance. Creativity leads to paintings, fashion, and photography. Creativity leads to books, film, and computers. Creativity leads to math, science, and technology. Without encouraging art and creativity, the world cannot advance. Art and creativity went hand-in-hand to create the space program, phones, and the internet. Thanks to art we have skyscrapers and monuments. Without art we could not even have a shack because building a shack would require creativity and the artistic roots in a human being. Art is one of the key things that makes humanity, and without it we could not survive.
