Art is a colorful part of me and without it my life would be bland and boring. Art shakes things up and allows me to express myself.

I believe art is such an important thing to have in life and it's really sad that art education is the first to go when cuts are made. I can't even imagine my life or myself without art. I'm able to freely express myself because of my art. Whatever I can't say my art says for me loud and clear. Art has also shown me to look at things from a different perspective. The color brown doesn't have to be just brown. It can have so many other unthinkable combinations with other colors like yellow or purple. I pay attention to detail and observe even the tiniest of things. Art has helped me so much and I know it can help others. Art is a universal language that should never die.
