Start a self-defense class for women at a gym or community center. See what another Do Something user did fortheir project.
Host an event and get everybody around you involved. Look at the University of Virginia's Take Back the Night project for inspiration.
Check out Spring Into Action grants for Clubs! Clubs are strongly encouraged to apply for 15 available $250 and $500 grants. Spring grants will be available in time to support Global Youth Service Day Projects! GYSD is April 25-27th. Start planning your project now and score a grant while you're at it.
Participate in EARTH HOUR. March 29th from 8-9pm - Convince your school to turn off all unnecessary lights. - Get your schoolmates to pledge their Earth Hour. - Have a club meeting in the dark. - Read or relax by candlelight.
