Paper Cranes for Japan: New Updates!

Paper Cranes for Japan

Your incredible (and worldwide!) outpouring of support and folding of cranes as part of the Paper Cranes for Japan campaign exceeded our wildest expectations: In March, after an earthquake and resulting tsunami devastated Japan, we challenged you to fold 100,000 cranes to trigger a $200,000 donation from the Bezos Family Foundation. The money would help fund Architecture for Humanity's rebuilding efforts alongside Japanese architects. But you responded by folding 2 million cranes, prompting BFF to double its initial donation, and an anonymous donor to add $100,000, bringing the total to $500,000. You made this happen. Congratulations!

But the excitement continues: Stay tuned for a very exciting new development, made possible by all of your support. And be sure to continue to viewing and posting photos on Facebook and checking out your incredible stories on www.studentsrebuild.org.
