Rainn Wilson wants you to Do Something (& tell him about it)

Rainn Wilson gave DoSomething.org a quick rant/rave on his most eye-opening experience. Now, he wants you to submit your own video.

Rainn traveled with his wife to Haiti last year to hang out with Aaron Jackson, a young person who launched a deworming campaign in Haiti for local children that has since grown into the multi-national non-profit Planting Peace.

This eye-opening experience inspired Rainn to get more involved with some great causes like the Mona Foundation, Full Circle Learning, and The Tahirih Justice Foundation. He continues to work with amazing young activists too, like Lindsay Branham and Jonathan Olinger from Discover the Journey.

Rainn has just come out with Soul Pancake, a book about chewing on some of life's big questions and discovering you own personal journey. One of the questions he asks is "What's 1 eye-opening experience that every person should have?" For him, that's going out and doing something good.

Now Rainn requests that you share some cause-y memories. Have you done something or met someone that truly inspired you to take action? What volunteer experiences have made the biggest impact on you?

What can you do?

Share your stories with us on our Rant/Rave page. And if you haven't made change yet, check out our projects page to find inspiration of your own or start a Do Something club and make the stories happen.
