Volunteerism new drug of choice

Alternatives to getting high - music, art, and extreme sports. That's what the organization Natural High told us when we asked them what their audience turns to the most to resist drug use.
Natural High is a not-for-profit established to help young people find a natural high to turn to as a means of rejecting drugs. Their dvd series and curriculum that has reached 84,000 schools and 2.5 million students. And they don't have to worry about their videos looking like those out-of-date sexual harassment videos full of parachute pants or bad 80's hair - they send out updated materials to the same schools every two years.
The organization is also expanding to online-based resources, including celebrity PSAs (wow, they sound a lot like us) that include stars like Cassadee Pope from Hey Monday and X Games gold medalist Travis Pastrana. Lauren Conrad talks about how fashion is her natural high below:
"There are much better ways to get high in life," Executive Director Michelle Ahearn tells DoSomething.org. "And we're of course all about volunteerism and promoting service as a natural high."
Of course it is Michelle. Haven't you seen our t-shirts?
What can you do?
Have your class or school post their natural high.
Use your artistic natural high to help others.
Find a project based on your interest, like football or dance.
