Is the fashion industry obsessed with all things skinny and white?
The fashion industry is getting a backlash but it's nothing new. For years, the leaders of style have been accused of being obsessed with gaunt white models but all the media hype hasn't produced any real change, and the latest headlines are a clear indication that maybe it's time someone, somewhere do something about it.

BAM shocker: wins Nobel Peace Prize
In a decision that has stunned even the White House, President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday.
Many are shocked by the unexpected choice for which Obama was nominated just two weeks after his inauguration. In response to objections around the world, the Norwegian Nobel Committee countered that it was trying "to promote what he stands for and the positive processes that have started now."

JetBlue, Do Something, and a host of professional athletes hit the links today to swing for good. Along with Jet Blue, Do Something and KaBOOM! (an org that builds awesome playgrounds for kids), took part in a the first annual “Swing for Good” Golf Classic at Bethpage State Park in NY.
DS CEO and Chief Old Person, Nancy Lublin was excited about the day, thanking supporters and added that “we majorly heart JetBlue.”
