Hey [[Email]] !
It's the most wonderful time of the year . . . . time to post your first Club Project of the year!
Do Something never requires money, cars, or an adult - but we do require that you get out there and take action. The first of our two annual deadlines (December 30th and June 30th) is approaching. In order to maintain your status as an Active Do Something Club, you must post a project by this deadline at www.dosomething.org/projects.
If you're a new club, posting your project by 12/30 = $$. Upon review of your project by DS staff, you'll be contacted and awarded $250 to help fund your first year.
Got Questions? E-mail me at mstevenson@dosomething.org.

Get ready for Teens for Jeans!
Our second annual jeen drive with Aeropostale launches this January. Are you inspired to take action against homelessness? Run a Denim Drive in your school.
Set up boxes in your school lobby or local community center, publicize, and drop off your collections at Aeropostale starting January 26th. We'll make sure they get to homeless youth in your community and YOU'll get an in store discount.
Let us know if you're running a drive! We're always looking for stellar clubs to highlight in the news. We'd love to connect you with local media to spotlight your efforts.

Club Spotlight
The Do Something Club at Century Heights High School won an Animal Action Grant to help support their work with the organization RIDE of Rochester, MN.
RIDE rescues abandoned horses and rehabilitates them. Because of RIDE, and the Century Heights DS Club, these horses can live long healthy lives and in hopes that they'll be adopted by loving families.
Congratulations! Keep up the good work protecting animal rights. Learn more about Animal Welfare and read about the other Animal Action grant winners at dosomething.org
