First off, I'm adopted. 17. Y'know.
And I have a problem. My parental doesn't believe global warming exists. She says that it is just weather.
I have shown her statistics & articles among other types of data to no avail; she just gets all mad and argues her way out of it, which she is good at because she's a politician in the local where I live.
Help, anyone? It bothers me a great deal & I'm at a loss.

how nice. I don't know what my parents think of Global Warming, but I think, no wait, I KNOW it's real. I've felt the effects of it. Just remember that there are people out there who know Global Warming is real.

I fond an interesting page on Maryland and Global Warming's effects on it. First let me say I'm from Florida, and I must say, your state is very beautiful, I never knew much about Maryland. Well, anyway, I found a link to a very informative page about Global Warming and Maryland, here it is:

So many people who belive in the truth give up when someone discurages them. They let the people who don't belive convence them otherwise. And for it to be your step-mother,the person you live with, I'm extremly glade you've stuck to it. I suggest you try to convence her to watch An Incoveniant Truth, if you haven't already. It's full of facts and graphs, and it might be more comfortable for her to be watching and hearing these facts from a politain like herself. lol, however, most politains don't like Al Gore, and if I may ask, which area is it that you live in? It may help convence her if you could prove to her changes that are going on in your area. I could do some reserch if it would help.
