Hi, my name is Amy. I go to a Christian School and we went through a series from International Justice Mission. IJM rescues young girls who have been forced into prostitution and frees children who have been in abusive forced labor. My friend Kelly and I have been doing a pop can drive for the past couple months to raise money for IJM. It only costs $500 to free a child from abusive labor and $1000 to free a girl forced into prostitution. IJM does everything through legal connections they have in countries such as Kenya, India and Africa. After freeing a person from bondage, IJM gives them a 'new life'. They provide them with a place to go and live, and the opportunity to get a job and really live. I love this organization and what it is doing. I hope to raise money for them for as long as I can.
