See It: The Community being helped

We are looking for good people who want to be a part of growing goodness in their communities. On 8/8/08 Growing In Goodness is having their annual Nations of Service Day. The project theme this year is A Million And One. Our goal is to have A Million And One volunteers serving on this day. By focusing on the million, we are trying to get a large number of people serving one another to grow the goodness in the world. By focusing on the one, we are reminded that although strength comes in numbers, it takes a personal commitment to grow goodness; it only takes one to change the world, and it is true that the world might only see you as one, but to one, you might mean the world. We believe that everybody can do something that makes a difference. We believe that when people care enough about something, extraordinary things will happen. We believe in you; please believe in us.
