See It: The Community being helped
The American Lung Association is a non-profit agency that does not receive any government funding. We must generate funds at special events to help fund the programs we run as well as research so that no one will have to suffer with a lung disease in the future. Events such as the Asthma Walk, Cars for the Cure, 5K Breath of Life, and others, take a lot of volunteers to make them work and they are a lot of FUN!

American Lung Association Funding
I love the idea of holding a 5K to raise money for the American Lung Association. I think we will try to do that too at our school to raise money to start our recycling program! Thanks for the great idea!
