Drugs and Violence

School Violence

Most of us know that some high schools have drug and violence problems, along with gangs. Ever wondered when it would take it down to Jr. High? At the school I attended lots of the 6th graders say they have had sex and do drugs. It is a horrible problem. I am aware they are lying, but someday they most likely will end up in that sort of problem. Also they have given violent threats to other students. A friend of mine at the begining of the year was threatened to have her face sliced with a knife. It never did happen. But the person who threatened her was never sent to a princapal or even spoken too. A student was just expelled for sexual harrasment. It is the 2nd of the dozens of harrassers in my school.  Does your school not tkae action to keep you safe? Because it is a problem. And I can say my school just, isn't safe in that sort of matter. I think staff should take more action to keep the people they are with everyday and themselves safe.

can u help us out

well we r doing a prject and we need to know how violence affect peoples lifes

WHAT?!!!

What do you mean? If we don't fight this now there could be something terrible waiting for us in the future. I know there are tons of kids who are under this influence everywhere including home, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't do something. Have hope that we can change rather than giving them an excuse!!!!!!! These kids need help. Talk to your counsilor or something, but don't just say,"eh, this just happens..."!

It's Real...

Kids are getting caught up with drugs, alcohol, sex and violence younger and younger these days. It really is happening. My brother is in middle school and I know he's done drugs, drank alcohol and I'm pretty sure he's had sex too. I was at a party once and saw a 12 year old drinking; she was high too. We can't blame these kids for getting caught up. Look at their influences. Peer pressure from friends, older kids not to mention the influences from video games and TV. A lot of them too have bad infuluences within the home; parents, older siblings. We are all to blame. I wish there was more we could do but I can't see a change anytime soon. Sad
