Why isn't there any recycling paper available for school?? At Walmart, for example. I guess it would be too expensive?? Everything's about the money.
I am an exchange student from Germany and am "stationed" ^^ in South Texas. I just want to know if you can buy recycling paper in other parts for the countries or if anyone has a good online tip.
My school in Germany has been using recycling paper in the printers etc. for years and the students are strongly encouraged to buy recycling notebook paper. But in Germany you can get the paper everywhere. Greenpeace paper is available in almost every store that sells school stuff.

okay i guess i can kind of see your point of view. if you really like hunting and being a carnivore then i can kind of understand how YOU would think vegans are weird and how YOU would even dislike them (some of them). personally, i dont care if someone is a carnivore,vegan,or whatever. can i just suggest something though? being a woman of ethics and morals, i dont like predjudice or discrimination or whatever you want to call it. i think you need to go easy on vegans and not hate on them quite so much.there are worse things in the world than veggie-eaters.

well you see as we all no vegans dont eat meat, so usually most vegans are anti-hunters as well. being an avid hunter myself i despise anti-hunters i think they are stupid(which they are). plus look at my name.... i mean i usually dont go out of my way to bully vegans, i have ethics, but vegans are bad for the meat market, the extremes ones protest all the time. i mean most vegans who just live their lives i do not really mind too much(though i still think they're wierd). i am a man of ethics and morals so i dont do anything extreme or violent against most vegans. its just the ones that effect hunters and meat, the ones that go out of their way to make hunters life harder. then, i have a problem. that and i dont like vegetibles much.

whoa slow down. i never blamed vegans. Vegans were telling people to not eat meat on a bogus site about global warming. now im all for saven the trees and forest do not get me wrong( they make great hunting grounds), but not eaten meat isnt going to stop global warming. Athletes and people need protien and i like mine from a cow not tofu or some pill. pollution is bad, but hey china is passing us econimicly and their pollution is way worse. im just sayen. we need factories we need buisness so we will have some pollution, and guess what with or without it the earth is going to get hotter. So fight industry and all that crap, and save the forest by all means, BUT EAT MEAT.

im here to knock some sense in you. i know why this sight is here. i hate vegans. the earth has certainly heated up this fast do some reaserch not conducted by vegans. we might be able to slow the process by one degree evry 100 yrs but it is impossible to stop it. the sun is growing and shining brighter, the ice is melting and effecting the the ocean current, so unless you refreeze the ice and put a pair of shades on the sun this process will continue.

I think that instead of President Bush worrying about what Iraq is up to he should take a look at the the condition that the earth is in and the beating that the ozone layer has taken. America as a whole needs to stop talking about "Going Green" and actually needs to "Go Green," by recycling, use energy saving products, design more feul effecient cars, and doing any other little task that can help save the only place that we have, no one on this planet is the same but at the end of the day one thing that we all do have in common is that Earth is place that EVERYBODY calls home, so with the billions of people who live on this planet I would think that many of us would like to continue to live here and take action to avert global warming. We all need to "Go Green" because honestly, lately the only green I've been seeing has been on traffic lights.

you can not base your judgement for global warming on the past 50 to 100 years. you can not even base it on the past 10,000 years. the earth has been here for billions of years, weather fluxuation over a course of 100,000 years for the earth is no different than the changing day to day weather of missouri. if its 70 thursday and snowing saturday its no big deal for us. well if the earth is frozen for a while then heats and cools..."big deal".. get your facts up to date the earth is heating up yes.. but we can not stop it. that is like trying to stop the sun from shining(the real cause for global warming) it wont happen get over it.

global warming can be stopped if the whole human civilization can just stop and take a look at what our planet was like 50 to 100 years ago we will notice a big change in the human environment and maybe we won`t die from freezing in an ice age the earth can change one step at a time but everybody needs to have a part in global warming and our earths environment

The earth has heated up and gone through mass extinctions of the planet four times without human help, and it will only continue with or without us. Looking at the big scale of planet time our exsistence is but a spec on the time line in an everchanging lanet we do not control. EAT MEAT EAT DAIRY EAT EGGS. leave some trees. if the ice stops melting that means we are in freezing weather. thats called an ICE AGE then we die anyway. so your choice vegans. freeze or burn.

The Lowes Foods by my house has this thing where if you get your groceries put in plastic bags, then you can take the bags back next time you go and reuse them instead of getting brand new bags and wasting our resources and clogging our landfills. Canvas and cotton bags are always a good idea too, but most people don't have enough of those to carry a lot of groceries in if you have a big family. Some people think that paper bags are fine but the truth is you are still cutting down trees and most people dont even recycle or reuse the paper bags. Think about it people! It's completely worth it to keep some bags in your car so you can help save the world.

The environment for any living organism has never been constant or static.It has always been changing,sometimes slowly and sometimes rapidly or drastically.Thus,like other organisms man is also affected by his environment and these change in environment is harmful for man or other organism living in it.Many species on earth could not cope up with changing environment,as a result of which they have since vanished and many are on the brink of vanishing.For example, the giant dianosaurs of the past could not survive mainly becaus of some hostile conditions of their environment at that time, if these pollutants carbon -di-oxide,methane,nitrous oxide,lead,Cfcs are increasing day by day and fossil fuel is also reducing day by day,so our existance in the earth is out of question. Today I watched a documentry on Global warming that aired a year ago on the discovery channel. One of the things it featured was the south pacific islands. While I don't remember the exact name of the Island half the year the could swim out of their doors and aroung town with the tides continuely rising every year. If this continues(and it will if global warming is true) then eventually their island will be completely flooded or eroded. So my thought someone should start raising money now so that when this happens if it does then their will be at least some money ready to evacuate the residents.

The Weather Channel is seeking students to demonstrate their passion for the environment through entering an essay contest through November 11. Winners will have the opportunity to participate in the Forecast Earth Summit, December 7 – 9, 2007 in Washington, D.C.

The three-day Forecast Earth Summit will focus on environmental educational campaigns and will afford 20 students the opportunity to engage in-depth with numerous environmental leaders, enthusiasts and scientists, including Dr. Heidi Cullen, The Weather Channel’s expert climatologist.

The Forecast Earth Summit is geared to high school freshman, sophomore and junior students.
