Join National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) in taking action to address youth traffic safety! On average 16 youth are killed every day due to traffic related crashes. NOYS has organized National Youth Traffic Safety Month asking all youth to get involved in peer to peer education and support enforcement efforts to decrease youth traffic related crashes and injuries. National Youth Traffic Safety Month begins April 23 in conjunction with Global Road Safety Week and runs through May 31. Youth can register their traffic safety related projects at www.noys.org to be eligible for one of 50 $1,000 awards. For more information, e-mail Sandy Spavone at sspavone@noys.org.
