That's an interesting idea, driving service sounds very functional. If you want to obtain the impact you want, I think this also very much on the type of cars.

I think that the designated driver idea is a good one and that the spray paint a junk yard car is a good idea too. I would personally set up an environmently safe (well the most it could be) bus. My town doesnt have any public transportation so it would be nice to have a bus so kids could ride on one to the mall or wherever. And then when kids are wasted they can ride it and not get in a car. And maybe it could be painted green. And then on the inside it could have posters saying to fight for causes and posters that have volunteer work ideas. And the bus could drive them to the volunteer place. Haha its a pretty pathetic idea but i would enjoy it

What if the contest lasted through summer, prom, or even the whole year. The goal would be to not get into an accident.
You could challenge people by grade instead of by sex.

Here's an idea. Battle of the sexes! Who can drive better, boys or girls??? SEt up a contest, with some rules, have two cars, an obstacle course in the school parking lot, and then set a fee for like a dollar or two to see who's the better driver. That'd work, wouldn't it??? What I'd do with $500...
I hate seeing people hurt, hate seeing people struggling in life. Personaly, I want to start an organization that provides for those who can't provide for themselves, dispite, age, race gender. An organization that can do anything as simple as to an ederly couples yard work, to something as big as feeding the homless...
So yeah. That's something I'd like to do with $500.

I would use it to buy a car wreck from a local junk yard and have it towed to my school's parkinglot. Then spray paint statistics about how many teens die from accidents on it.
What I Would With $500 is...
Well, today in class we were talking about community service hours that we have to get. My teacher has been to many countries who have children who need to go to school and children who need supplies for their schools. We wanted to raise money so that we can provide them with school supplies and uniforms. Then send them up with her church and distribute them to the schools. So if I had the $500 to organize something, that's what i would start.

Unfortunately the smart driving program is one that is just open to US residents (sorry!!!), but you can definitely apply for a gamestop or a plum grant to get your smart driving (or any other cause) project up and running!
