See It: The Community being helped
The children affected by Hurricane Katrina are still not back in their homes. They have been isolated from their familiar communities and when school lets out they will have nothing to do because of their community situation. For the past 8 months, I have been putting together craft projects and activity kits to send to the children so they will have fun and creative activities to keep them busy this summer. I have been working with the Covenant House in New Orleans to make this happen.
