Illiteracy in the World

Global Extreme Poverty

A result of extreme poverty is illiteracy.  People can't afford to send their children to school when they don't even have enough to give the children a meal.  Children are kept at home and are forced, not by their parents but by necessity, to work in jobs that are underpaid and many times dangerous or exhaustive.  I think it is our obligation to help out in some way.  The world's future lies in the hands of our generation and we need to take the time to notice that in order to create a better tomorrow it is essential that everyone gets an equal education.  Everyone has the right to an education and we need to do something to make that possible.

I agree about that they need to have an education to be able to get out of poverty, but it would cost alot of money because if the kid is away then the parent's might not get the pay that they would get if the kid worked, someone would have to give them money.
