See It: The Community being helped
A service initiative taken on by students at North Carolina State University. During National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week (November 11-17), projects from several poverty and hunger awareness organizations will be organized to incorporate student service involvement in the fight against hunger and homelessness. These projects will include preparing dry meals to be sent overseas, organizing food closets, making blankets for homeless individuals, and serving at soup kitchens. Funding is needed to provide supplies and publicity for the event.
