honestly, i dont feel safe at my school. there are so many things going on in this world i dont really FEEL safe anywhere. not even my house.

School safety is a major factor in success and can dramatically affect students in succeeding academically and as a person. Bullying, wow, that's a topic! Anyway, I've seen lots of bully attacks, but it's hard to stand up. If I stood up I would have been the one girl agains the entire school bus. Even my driver pitched in on making fun of this kid. It was terrible!!! We had called and complained, but the bullying only receded for a certain amount of time. She told everyone that someone had called and complained and people tried to pick that person out. I lied. If I did it all over again, I would've stood up to them. It's better to stand up then than to never stand up at all, even when you're alone! Because now, I have a huge chunk of guilt chained to me and I always wonder how he's doing. There's a difference between saying you'll stand up and actually doing it. Anyway, good luck standing up to the snots, bullies, and clicks in your schools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel safe at my school because their are always teachers in the hall at all times in tilll the school closes. To make other schools safer they should do the same.(

I which school in the middle of 7th grade form public to cathlico . I felt safer at my old school than my new school. I like it beacuse of the nebiorhood around my old school was much safer . I felt that my old school was my home away from home.

I go to a Catholic school and I feel really safe there but I live in a big city and there are loads of gangs from other schools and maybe outside of school it's not really safe.

Yes, but I can't of any actions that would really be beneficial. How much of the violence takes place during the school itself? What is the death/injury total that has occured in America's schools? I'm willing to bet that it is a mere dozens per year.

That, in my mind, is an acceptable fraction, and it makes me feel very safe.

It is true that many Americans fear things very irrationally....but don't you think there are also many schools in America that, unfortunately, are actually unsafe and something needs to be done?

I feel completely safe at my school. The only thing you have to fear is fear itself; I feel that a lot of the time, the only reason people are afraid at school is because they are taught to be afraid.

I really think that they should be reported and then be put away from him and other stundents and I and going to tell all of you my school is not safe for any body to be at because they kill people here and slice people open

I seriously just wanna start something, something big. Because think about it, there's how many "girls" in the click that pick on people? 6? 5? And NOBODY likes being picked on, so I just wish that all the people being picked on, and ones that watch it happen, would stand up to them! Because if it was mean people vs. everyone they're mean to, we WAY out number them! If you take a stand, it gives other people the courage to stand up with you. You have to make the first move though.

My school is safe foe right now at least.These kids pick on this kid because they think he is WEIRD and NOT cool enough to hang out with them so you actually never know what people are capable of espically when they get bullied.It is just plain out STUPID.It don't make the kids that pick on him any cooler it makes them look so so how do you put it?? Losery.

My shool is realy safe I think. there will always be clicks but they all get along. i think a something that is really important is just to be nice to everyone.

so I've been in at least 8 schools because my family has moved a lot and everywhere I went, there were ppl making fun of others all the time. what do you guys do that makes ppl not want to mess with each other?

seriously, my school doesn't really have bullying either! im pretty much friends with everyone. or at least i try to be. And no one really gets bullied. yeah there are people that dont like each other but they dont really mess wtih each other. there are only like 2 types of major groups in my grade, the preps and the...others....

there is so much drama at my school. Plenty of girls are very superficial. If you dont have a cell phone your not "cool", and they pick on people for it. i wish that things were different but i guess that change has to begin somewhere and one of the places is the schools

so do you really feel safe at your school?or do you think that but not really no the ppl and knowing wat there capable of and wat they have donr amd a possibility of wat they might do because technaically are school arent safe.
