I for one feel so tired of trying to loose some extra lbs. I know that the idea of a new healthy body would be the reward in it self, its just that the time it takes. I see so many people who start to exersize and eat healthy and just give up. Why is it so easy. I wanna keep on keepen on with this, but my musles arnt used to all this. There so sore!!! Why does it take so long to get any results. I know that some girls just give up or cheet like just not eating or up chucking every thing they eat. That seems harder to keep on doing that and probaly beeing totaly misrable, but they keep it up. All im trying to do is run acouple of times a week eat healthier and loose couple lbs. Looking for some HOPE

honestly, as long as you
honestly, as long as you have goals, just keep yourself motivated and it will get you far! good luck!
it makes it easier if you
it makes it easier if you find out a workout buddy .. someone who is consistent and goal-driven is a plus.
keep it up!
You should make realistic goals for yourself. Start easy by saying you'll jog a few blocks every day and continue. As you go on and get used to it, just keep setting the goals higher. Jumping into an exercise plan that your body isn't used to will make it a LOT easier to give up because you won't be able to keep up. Remember to eat healthy and drink plenty of water too. Never skip meals to lose weight either, because when you're exercising you have to have energy and calories to burn off (:
Good luck! You can do it (:!
I was like in the same
I was like in the same situation. I was totally overweight. When I was in school i wasn't really excepted among my peers. They mad fun of me, call me hurtful names everything. So I felt it was time for a change i had to lose some pounds even though my family excepted me I used to care what other people think. How people look on t.v made me want to be like those people to fit in with the in crowd. Do U think the way I felt was wrong??
Working out
Making up your mind to get started is the hardest part.
If you're in a lot of pain from your workouts, consider changing your routine and also watch your nutrition. Not drinking enough water or getting the right nutrients will slow your recovery.
If your goal is weight loss, the majority of your workout cycle should be cardio (running, aerobics, biking etc.) to raise your heart rate for an extended period of time. Also, you'll want to weight train once or twice weekly, focusing on doing several sets of a light weight. If you're not able to use a trainer, a phys ed teacher at your local high school can help you put together a workout plan that will be effective and prevent you from getting injured.
The soreness in your muscles after a workout is from lactic acid, a byproduct of the chemical reaction that occurs when your muscles are contracted. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water before and during your workout. Also, whey protein after your workout will help your recovery. If it's still a problem, try taking creatine monohydrate supplements which will increase your endurance by reducing lactic acid buildup.
Hope this helps!

if your muscles are sore-
if your muscles are sore- wait until they're fully healed before you workout again. Try this website www.bodybuilding.com.
It is a forum for people 13 and older that gives you great advice on workout routines and diet planning for all body types depending on what your goal is. I've been happy with my results so far. Good luck!
I think exercizing is easier
I think exercizing is easier if you try to make it fun. You're more likely to engage in an activity that you do like, rather than one you dont. Try out a few different sports and see if anything appeals to you. Or hit the gym with a friend and be eachothers support system. Good luck!

Losing the extra weight
I know what you're talking about. Truthfully, it's easier to keep it up with someone running by your side or someone that will be in the "weight loss" plan with you. This way you know you're not alone and if you're ever feeling depressed or tired, you have someone to talk to.
But keep in mind, there's a difference between being healthy and being skinny. Not everyone will be able to get into "model" shape. Everyone has different body shapes, different bone weight, different height and body proportions. As long as you accept yourself- and that means truly accept yourself- you ARE fit. =)
nice
Sounds like you are doing great!
I think you need to set a small series of goals, like:
- I want to run 3 miles this week, 4 next week
- Only drink 1 soda this week, no chips
Making small goals like this will give you things to shoot for and hopefully stop you from waiting to achieve your ultimate goal all at once.
Good LUck!
