So first things first, you need a title. Keep it short. Step 4 Pick a Category Step 5 Tag your Project. The "Hot Project Tags" on the right of the page are commonly used tags. It is good to include those in your list of tags, then anytime someone click one of those tags your project will come. Step 6 Describe your Project. While you shouldn't make it too long it also should be more then a sentence. Only the first sentence is shown on the main project page, so make it catchy. The most important things to include in your project description are; your inspiration for the project, the steps you took, challenges you faced, and the impact your project made. Here is a good example. Step 7 Fill in the Vital Stats Step 8 Upload Pictures of your project. The more the better! If you project post includes pictures you have a much higher chance of ending up featured on our homepage. Step 9 Let people know how they can involved. Here is a good example Step 10 Type in your location, so other Do Something users in your area can get involved. Step 11 Submit your Project! Step 12 If you want to edit or update your project after you have submitted it, just click on the "Edit" button at the top left hand corner of your project. Make sure you are logged in or the edit button won't appear.
