When I was in the tenth grade I really thought about dropping out because nothing was going good in my life but, something told me to never give up. When you think about it you can't get anything without education in these days right? So why do people dropout of school?

I'm stumped too
I have no clue why people drop out. In fact I have no idea why people do some of the things they do. I guess it's just a matter of who you are and what you really want to do.
I'm a "drop out".
I dropped out of high school in the fall of 2007. I recently had my graduation for recieving my GED this last week. I had one of the highest scores in my class, so I was asked to give a speech, which explains a lot of why I personally dropped out, and how a GED is no longer just a "good enough diploma" It can be found here:

It is true, it's all about how you handle it. A lot of people I know who have gotten their ged, including myself, are attending college and being or planning on being, just as succesful as anyone else.
Dropping out isn't that bad.
It's all in how you HANDLE dropping out
Becoming a bum doesn't help.
but if you go get your GED or something
and are doing good for yourself,
it's a good thing.
Not as good as it could be,
but it's good nonetheless.
My Story:
My best friends boyfriend dropped out.
Not because he honestly wanted to.
He was doing alright in school.
He was being forced out because of people in his NEIGHBORHOOD doing horrible things to the school.
He decided insteead of being punished everyday for this,
he'd dropout.
His dream was to be in the military.
From that being said, he dropped out,
got his GED with AMAZING GRADES.
and Now is in basic and AIT.
He graduates in June.
Not every drop out is bad,
it's all about how you handle it.
It's either due to immense
It's either due to immense pressure and constant low grades or shock from a sudden downgrade in the quality of work. The problem doesn't start when the student is on the verge of dropping out from school. You have to factor the opinion of his or her peers, parents, and teachers. It is possible that their parents have never taken education seriously themselves, but knew enough to get a job. It is also possible that the teacher has lost or never had the ability to motivate the student.
Education also comes at a cost: time and money. Some feel that by stopping their schooling then and there, they can work full time to provide for their family or themselves. Some feel that they do not have the ability to achieve higher education. Some feel that tuition is too high and do not really see ways of getting around it.
There are mountains of reasons on why one would want to drop out of school. It is definitely not encouraged, though.
