Date rape should be a relevant issue in high school. Especially with growing popularity on facebook, predators- even students from school- stalk out "prey" and then attack. This should be brought up in schools and discussed among the students because in the end it has the same effect as regular rape does. In question, what is rape? When you answer that question, then you'll see that date rape is no different. NO MEANS NO. Sometimes the statement is expressed as a joke or a playful innuendo... but "no" is still a word that should initiate an end to whatever activity was being executed.
Women's Rights
It is the right of every person to say no and expect that their wishes are respected. I do not agree with date rape, nor do I believe that the rapers should just get a slap on the hand. Too many times, you hear about girls being taken advantage of and nothing is done. Their are some parents that totally agree with their young boys having sex with just about any girl they see fit. I think that the parents have a lot to do with the problems that are affecting the world today. More people should report these crimes and the rapers should be sentenced to jail time.
I really believe that if more people were reported and sentenced to jail time, in the long run they will start to realize that what they have done is a serious crime. Reason being, is because I am sure that some of the pretty boys that rape will go to jail and have the same terrible injustice done to themselves...

i know a few kids at my school that was date raped after school what thye have done to coop with it has been talk to there parents and close friends and pro. help i mena there reall isnt much you can do to prevent date raping or to cure the pshyc. affects of date rape victims
