In america every two and a half minutes somewhere someone is raped. Sexual assault is the most unreported crime in the United States today. Alot of women today choose not to speak up. Why not? According to consoling centers speaking out is the best thing you can do to get over what happened. Consoling services allso believe taht if you don't speak out the rapist thinks that he or she got away with the terriable thing they did! There are many organizations that rape victims can talk to and many of them are open 24 hours, and have idividual consoling.

RE: Teen Rape
This IS a very sensitive issue, most especially for teen women. And IT DOES GO UNREPORTED. Which is sad: why? The culprit doing the wrong goes on to do so to other victims & is not charged, caught, etc. Rape can lead to unexpected & devastating murders. It is sad to be a victim of rape, even though I AM NOT A VICTIM, hearing the stories frightens me. To be sexually assaulted is to be scarred.
jachal09, what are the places that people can go to if such a horrible thing were to happen to them? We should let people be aware of help services to them.
Hopefully with more girls standing up for justice in their own personal experiences, rape will dwindle & murder & rape prevented.
