Cure for Malnutrition Found

Hunger

Imagine if a simple, effective, and low cost product existed to treat severely malnourished children. Wouldn’t it be great! The good news is that it does exist and it’s called Plumpy’nut. Doctors Without Borders, http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org, is working to bring this peanut butter based food treatment to starving children around the world. Some more information is available at: http://www.plumpynutinthefield.com. Check it out and maybe you can help.

Walk for Plumpy'nut

I'm so glad that the word about Plumpy'nut is getting out! Thanks for the great post - hopefully even more people will discover its amazing benefits. Last year a group of my friends and I organized Walk for Plumpy'nut so we could raise money to send Plumpy'nut packets to children in Ethiopia. I thought you'd like to hear that a lot of people are working together to make this nutritional supplement available to the most desperate regions of the world.
