Hello,
I run a group of voluteers that work on a reservation called Cheyenne River in South Dakota. We work closely with the Cheyenne River Youth Project to help Lakota on the reservation. Cheyenne River is the 3rd poorest area in the US with an average income of about $7000.00 a year. Over 70% of the Lakota population is unemployed. Whatever social issues are happening throughout the country are magnified on the reservation. Many of my group voluteers are teens with a passion to help others help themselves. If you want more ino about my group or the Cheyenne River Youth Project let me know.
