they are (setting a bad
they are (setting a bad example), but the ones that are really into the drugs don't really care either. the way they see it, they never said they were trying to be role models. which is sad but that's the way it is. i guess they are more likely to do it, but, 'they' being the teens, never really had guidance in their lives, and thus, are more easily influenced or pressured. so i think the answer is education, by both the parents and the schools and even the communities as a whole. really, these people just need someone to be there for them. and as for the celebrities, boredom? or same as the teens. i mean, there are many celebrities that DON'T do drugs so the celebrities that get sucked into that world were probably the same teens that are being influenced by them today.
all that said, i really want to (and do) strongly believe that heath ledger's death was not a suicide. sleeping pills were found nearby, so it is very likely that it was an accidental overdose... it has been said that he wasn't getting much sleep lately. i don't know, it's too early to tell. but has he done drugs before? i'm not really sure, if not i wouldn't put him in the same category as those above. i really want to believe that he was the kind of person that just wouldn't take his own life, no matter how hard or stressful his got =/
