Teen Pregnancy

Teen Pregnancy

Recently in my school I have been noticing there's been a fast growing rate of teen pregnancies and under the age of 17 even the freshman are pregnant...and not only that they are dropping out because of it ......Well here's the interesting part, my school encourages "Abstinence ONLY" ....hello! ever herd of raging teen hormones? Teens are less likely to be abstinent, though I am sure there are teens that don't have sex , but they're a small group.
So since my school is so naive with the whole abstinence deal ...I decided to take action and go to the free clinic. They gave me 200 condoms within a couple a of weeks I was nearly out! I was so surprised at the progress I was making...I was doing something that could potentially save an education, an unnecessary abortion, an unwanted pregnancy, let alone the STD's.
I have been talking to a lot of teens and you would be very surprised how many clueless teens that are out there. I feel that it's very important that something should be done about it... I, myself may not be able to change the world in one day , but I sure can change a few lives a day at a time.
