Trace Adkins remark on the celebrity apprectice this week regarding his horse being too slow was disgusting and should never have been aired. He stated that he wanted to put a "bottle rocket" up the horse to get him moving. If you love animals, PLEASE send NBC and Mr. Trump an email letting them know that this was not only NOT COOL but just plain trailer trash talk.

Think about it
I'm a big country music fan so I must listen to a lot of his songs and I don't personally know the guy and I'm sure none of you guys do either. and do you honestly think he HAS time to hunt??? I don't. I'm sure he didn't really mean what he said. He was probably just joking.
it could go either way
i own horses and i sometimes get mad and yell at them, although i shouldnt. it depends on if it was just a joke or he was being serious. i dont watch the apprentice so i dont know what he said. me n my horse friend joke around all the time that "if my horse does that one more time im going to kill him," or "you are so going to become dog food," but we love our horses alot and they know it and we know it. we would hate for them to actually have these things happen to them, and we are against animal cruelty. so was he trying to be funny or mean? what was the exact comment and tone of voice?

Don't you think you're taking this a little too far. I watched the Apprentice and feel you have bigger fish to fry.
a Joke?
What I don't really get, I guess, is that people will say things like this and have the coverup excuse that it was "just a joke". Maybe it's just me, but there's a difference between a joke and a cruel statement like that... and, lets face it, if you're going to say something on national TV, say something smart!

he probably hunts animals too. they have no regard for animals so i don't respect them either. any man that can kill an animal for sport is not a man at all but a coward.
Adkins' Remark
With remarks such as his, in addition to the facts regarding abuse of animals in rodeos, my respect for the cowboy continues to fall. It is truly sad.
