Motivation
Motivation should not need to be bought.
One's potential to succeed merely needs to be sought out by support and understanding.
We shouldn't have to be paid
Bribing is not a very good thing to do to get kids to focus in class. Sure seems like the idea would work, but we shouldn't have to be bribed to get good grades. Every kid should show his or her potential on their own. Plus it wouldn't be fair to those before us who didn't get paid for good grades.
Umm..NO!
Seriously students shouldn't have to be bribed to do well. It may actually get them to do work but they still won't have any real work ethic; they will expect a reward for everything they do. So, no students shouldn't be paid for good grades.
Are you kidding?
Get paid for good grades? I think not. As a student, working toward a goal, being successful academically simply because it will lead you to a better future, and developing as a person is paramount. The fruits of your efforts lie in your future, to which college you are accepted, how high your salary is when you get a job, etc. If having a comfortable life free from financial instability and other stresses isnt incentive enough to do well in school, I don't know what is.
Stop. Think. Your life is what you make it.
How far will you go?
i don't think so
if you think about it, kids actually get paid to get good grades. they get paid in the form of financial aid and scholarships to go to college. and these types of payments is what makes many people to keep going and do well in their schools. as for getting paid cash money for getting good grades, there is a big problem with that- who would pay these students? I don't think the government has that much money to pay the students.
i dont think it would help.
it would be graet to get paid, but what about the children who have it hard at home or are slower than others
they wont get rewarded and will feel bad b/c they dont get praised for doing thier best so theyll quit trying
Why Not?
Well, the problem with that would be someone would rise up in controversy to call it "bribery" as is the case alot of the time, but where it not for that, why not? Kids who take the time and effort to get those grades should get something besides a pat on the back to keep going.
I don't think it would
I don't think it would work
I'd love getting paid but if you get good grades and work hard you'll get paid back for it later in life.
It would be amazing to get
It would be amazing to get paid for good grades! Everyone would try to do their best. But lets face it, thats not gonna happen.
As a student, I'd be more
As a student, I'd be more than happy to get paid for good grades! However, it could result in a lack of motivation for student to learn simply for the reason of bettering themself. Although then students also may see school as a "job" and strive to do well since money is involved. As well, students could also invest more time into school as they wouldn't need to have part time jobs. <3
