Help change how companies think about global warming!

Everyone here knows that global warming is a big problem, but many corporations and corporate executives still don't understand the problem!

We just created a new service called EcoUnit.com to get your voice and opinions about the environment heard by corporate leaders. EcoUnit.com lets companies poll environmentally concerned consumers like yourself on what you think about their current green initiatves. Every poll you take will directly be influencing how companies actually treat the environment!

Not only will taking polls guide companies, we'll also reward your effort with EcoUnits. EcoUnits are carbon offsets, each one takes care of 440 pounds of your carbon output, which means within a few months of EcoUnit surveys you'll be living completely carbon free!

Please take a second to look through our website at www.EcoUnit.com to get more details, we really hope you'll join us in helping companies shape their green policy.

Responsibility to the Future

How do we ensure that Businesses become more Responsible and Sustainable in their practices? Can we make linkages between Business Profits, the promotion of peace and the adoption of sustainable processes?

Strategic Foresight Group is pleased to convene an action initiative on business, peace and sustainability through an International conference on Responsibility to the Future: Business, Peace, and Sustainability in Mumbai, India, on 26-28 June 2ooo.

The conference aims to bring together some of the leading intellectuals and innovators in the world to understand emerging problems facing humanity, conceptualize response strategies, develop approaches to measure economic benefits of peace for companies, and construct mechanisms to engage business leaders in efforts to build sustainable peace. It is expected that the conference will launch practical collaborative problem-solving initiatives, identify agenda for policy research and dialogue and create a network of business leaders for sustainable global peace. It will also produce a report, an audio-visual film and a website to facilitate the involvement of people across business, civil society and policy communities.

The conference is thus a result-oriented exercise. It is proposed to be a catalyst to launch a network for action – and is not merely an event. To include ‘all voices’ we have started an online discussion forum, where others can share related concerns, ideas, news, comments and initiatives.

This forum will feed into conference discussions and will serve as a platform for launching and monitoring post-conference initiatives and projects. We invite all voices to this platform and encourage your comments and insights.
