When questioned about McCain, Republican senator Lindsey Graham said. "Climate change is the road less traveled but he’s traveled it even more than Al Gore,” Graham said. The green blogosphere has jumped on this one, saying "My God! The Nobel Foundation got it all wrong! It’s actually John McCain that has done more than anyone else to draw attention to Global Warming! Of course!" (source) What do you think?

Global Warming

icewielder, where in THE WORLD do you get your " facts " ? From some economists who all of a sudden decides he's an eviromental scientists ? From one of the immeasurably miniscule number of global warming " skeptics " with extremely close ties to the Republican Party, funded by Big Oil ? Or more likely from both of those sources. Climate change is rapidly excelerated over just the last few year by the ENORMUS amounts of excess green house gases we put into the atmosphere. 20 percent of global warming is caused by deforestation, cutting down of trees to build roads, make into farm land, convert into pastures for livestock, AND to build uncountable homes and strip malls. Another 25 percent of global warming is caused by the UNITED STATES ALONE, and that's not counting China, India, and Australia. Maybe youn should get your numbers from a qualified person and not an economist who knows pocket change far better than climate change. And Jees_Loosechange, if we don't pump life outr of the planet just because it's profitable, than why is there so much whining from companies and others about how they couldn't turn a profit, which isn't true by the way, if they switched to greener methods of production and energy ?
Actually this makes sense.
Look at it this way, Al Gore made a movie, Al Gore left out what percent of all global warming we actually cause. Sure, he told facts, but he never actually mentions how much HUMANS actually cause. Try .27 percent on for size. Sure the temperature is rising, but its happened 5 times in the last 800000 years. And just as bad as it is now. Climate change is NATURAL, Global Warming is human. Climate Change Chief is actually a good title for McCain. In short, he has pointed at the 99.73% that we DON'T Cause. Now don't think I support McCain, Ron Paul is more like it. But Al Gore has caused fear and panic, McCain has told the truth. That's an important fact.

And Al Gore, unlike Mc Cain, actually points the finger at the right culprit, the very type of people that supports Mc Cain, so how can Mc Cain pin point the right bad - guy if they're the people that support him?! However, we the people all donate to Global Warming, in our own energey consumption and the way some people litter, but we don't go pumping the life out of the Earth just beacause it's profitable.

I thought he (Al Gore) made an entire movie about how climate change is bad. It's also ironic that McCain is the "climate change chief", but he's supported by big oil companies.
