Official Rules for "Feed The Need"
- Entrants must be 25 and younger as of the application deadline.
- Entries must be submitted via the Do Something™ website following simple online registration by December 15, 2008
- Winning entries will be selected by a panel of judges including Do Something staff and Participant Productions personnel. Judges' decisions will be final.
- Entries will be judged on the amount of food collected, creativity/originality, community/group participation, and impact on the community.
- Winners will be notified individually via e-mail by January 15 and $1,000 grants will subsequently be awarded. No substitution or transfer of grants is permitted. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
- Grand Prize Winner must abide by screening guidelines set by film distributor at the conclusion of the contest.
- By entering the contest, winners grant Do Something™ and Participant Productions the right to use their name and likeness as well as to adapt, publish or use the entry for any advertising, promotional, trade or any other purpose without further compensation or permission from the entrant except where prohibited by law.
- General Conditions: Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules. All entries become the property of Do Something™/ Participant Productions and will not be returned. Winners will be required to execute documents of eligibility, release from liability, and transfer of their winning entries if necessary. By entering the contest, all participants consent to the commercial use of their names, pictures, likenesses and entries (with rights to edit or adapt entries) without further compensation. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Do Something™, Participant Productions, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents, the judging panel from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or any grant received. Do Something™, Participant Productions and their agents are not responsible for unauthorized human intervention, phone, technical, network, electronic, computer, hardware or software failures, malfunctions or disconnects of any kind, or misdirected, incomplete, stolen, garbled, fragmented or delayed internet/e-mail computer transmissions or network/ISP/website internet accessibility; or for inaccurate, incorrect or incomplete capture of entry information.
- The contest is open to all US and Canadian residents and is void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.
- Employees of Do Something™, Participant Productions, its affiliates and agencies and their immediate families are not eligible to receive any of the prizes.
- All entries become property of Do Something and Participant Productions.
- For the winning entries, visit www.dosomething.org after January 19. Telephone requests for rules, winners' list and entries cannot be accommodated.
