well,everyone makes mistakes even though that is big Bristol is taking responsibilites for her actions . By not getting an abortion and raising the child with the father . Its privite buissenss that does not include the great policeys that Sarah plalin has
*pro-life
*sopports the war
*drilling holes in Alaska for oil untill there is an inexspensive way to not do that
*lowering taxes
and many other great ideas

I don't care who's kids they are they shouldn't be targeting them. Even if they were Obama's kids i would be just as disgusted. (don't like obama much but i dont know much about what McCain has planned either)

I may not like her that much, but I think that these things shouldn't mess things up for her because it's her business. What I don't get is how she's going to take care of her child with Downs if she ends up in office.

To me it's not a matter of liking or not liking her. I don't care that her daughter is pregnant, but I have a few things to mention:

1.) SHE brought the issue to the campaign and now complains about the 'evil' media talking about it.

2.) The issue isn't her daughter's pregnancy, BUT Palin supports abstinence ONLY education. Well, as we have seen with Bristol, when you teach abstinence only and not also about safe sex, teens with ranging hormones, thinking high and fast, don't think about condoms because they were never taught about them! What if Levi had AIDs or an STD. Sure we can all agree that abstinence is 100% effective against unwanted pregnancy and STDs, but without the education of other ways to prevent those things, people remain ignorant and do what ignorant people do and in Bristol's case, get pregnant.

3.) Conservatives are hippocrates because if this was one of Obama's girls, Conservatives and Republicans would make this a daily talking point about how immoral Democrats and Librals are. And if you're a Conservative and shaking your head no, then you're in serious denial because before Bristol's pregnancy was announced, Conservatives and Republicans ignored the issues of women and adolescents who get pregnant every day, unwillingly. And proof of that ignorance was abstinence only education. Out of thought, out of mind.

Obviously I'm for empowering people to make the right decisions instead of arming them with ignorance and failing to educate all who have a right to know. This is 2008, living in your shell doesn't make you wiser and ignoring it doesn't make it go away. Wake up people!
