No, this law needs to cover more than just buses, and trucks. No one should text while they drive. It's too dangerous. No one's life is the worth the risk of your accident. It cannot be replaced or texted back at a later time. Texting while driving should be banned in all states for all people. A life is too precious to waste on a cell phone.
There are sooo many teens out there thinking that there invinsible and nothing can happen including adults, my best friend got into an accident while texting and noe she is crippled and can barely remeber anything, her 2 little brothers were in the car, and they both passed away.
Something really needs to change and im thinking of doing a strike out in dallas Texas.

I think texting and talking while driving should be banned from everywhere! It's not worth it to loose your life by doing something that can be done later. I think there should be a way to help people understand that it's not safe and that it should stop. You can't text back your life, so just put your phone down and be safe. It's that simple!
I think that people spend too much time worrying about what other people are doing and taking the need to txt them, that they forget that they're behind the wheel! Texting while driving kills thousands and if we don't put an end to it now, thousands will soon turn into millions.

What could be so important that that many people need to be texting, Pull over and text. 9 out of ten times the reason for texting isn't even that imporatnt. Just think one little click can destroy a life!!!!!!!
the law was put in place by the soul controlers of the so called free world, it governs the so called bottom feeders, and yet has come to terms about the injustice they inflict upon the out skirts of the caged song birds.through music gap has been filled unexspectedly.to what magnitude do we as a unified society stand up and say enuff talk,time to show and prove.theres many ways to combat the reverse tactics of mind play and programming.in all honesty, there hasent been a repersenitive for the people in a very long while.honesty within self comes first with a moral compass to guide the helm.if political man an woman are left to govern the land,as shown time an time again, they can do no right. just talk and promises that always seems to fall shot of what the people exspect.texting is another form of down sizing the population in a manner of speaking, i know, it sounds krazy. but mind games is the number one cause of systematical thinking which leads to programming the young and controling the old.with hiphop music we the people have an outlet to express our woes.convey to the other side of the world and make viable notes of such.it's in our hands..the people.stop texting while driving, we all see and hear the stats of the after effects.so lets take control... peace young ones...major respect & love
This law is not enforced enough! After the "Ban" of texting, sitting in the passenger seat of my car, I saw a teenager texting!!!! So many careless teens text or even talk while driving. Cell phones are among the biggest distraction someone can have while driving. Especially teenagers!! Most teenagers don't even understand the trauma of a crash because of texting, it is VERY dangerous. And i think teenagers shouldn't even be able to use a cell phone at all when they start to drive.
People that are in their own vehicles should not be able to text while they drive! When you text, you are not as focused as you are when you are paying attention to the road. Even those who can text without looking will be paying attention to what they are texting than to the road they are on.
I believe texting while driving is an atrocious act. It should be a national issue, not just statewide. Many people become victims of accidents due to distracted drivers who are busy texting. Such an activity should be left for other times, when they are not putting others in danger. Talking on the phone causes enough interference, but texting should be banned completely.
