I think there are pros and cons to this situation. I do understand that they are trying to give better seats, but still it is wrong to reject to let that person on the airplane.
I think it is discrimation to obese people because some might think that just because they're fat they have to spend more money than the average person just to ride on the plane...i think not.. Making obese people buy two seats tell them that a.) your to fat to fit on one so buy more space for yourself & b.) it tells that they have to feel self consince about themselves because they have two seats for themselves since they are fat.. This is wrong!

I don't see what they mean, it could be discrimiation but it could also be a saftey issue too, it could go either way if you see what I mean
I think that the airlines just want to make sure that your are comfortable and safe. They are just doing the safe thing.
No. It cant be discrimination because they are trying to help that person get a better seat and it is more safer to sit in 2 seats than 1 seat.

I dont think its dicrimination, because if an obese person does not fit in 1 seat the ideal thing is to buy 2 seats.
