As it turns out, I was unable to volunteer today because my mom just got home from breast cancer surgery. So I was indeed helping out around the house all day :-) which, I suppose, is volunteering!

I wanted to reply to what you posted. I understnad that you live in the middle of no where as you put it but just picking up trash around your area is volunteering for the earth. I know this is not the best thing to do but it is a start until you are able to get involved a little bit more. :]

also,i am dyslexic,so it can't involve reading.
you don't have to do something for a company. Just helping out your parents or nieghbors with chores can make a difference in their day.
