i want 2 no y r some many ppl so negitive towards gay ppl. they r ppl just like u n me. ya so wat they r diffrent n like their same gender. this is discrimination. blacks didnt have any rights not but 40 years ago. now here we r frighting over if two ppl of the same sex can be in love and have a family.
Why do people have such a problem? its better than abusing children! as long as they give children loving homes and a good upbringing whats the difference between gay families and "straight" families? as long as the child is happy and treated right it is ok
I have mixed feelings about this. I mean i know its not right in God's eyes but people are also making such a big deal about it. Who cares who you marry? That was your choice and for some reason you made it. People should just stop griping about gay rights and get on with their lives.
I do have a strong faith in God, but I don't agree that He is discriminating agaisnt any kind of people. If He is all forgiving and accepting, I believe very strongly that He has no preference for what we believe as long as it doesn't hurt others. Honestly, I hate it when churches try to use scare tactics like this because God wants to spread peace and happiness not fear and shame.
I think that the last thing the world needs is to discriminate against any kind of love. There isn't enough of it to begin with so what are we doing telling people no?!? I think the whole damn world should be bisexual just to make a little more love.
I don't believe in god, but I do respect all people who do just the same as those who don't. I love to see people like you, though I don't get to much because people with views like you are so rare. I like seeing someone who believes in peace and happiness in one form or another. I have been told before (by a little kid I might add) that I was going to go to hell for not believing in god. It really scared me that that child's parents were telling him things like that (they were sitting there nodding to his words) and gave me a bit of a bad feeling toward christians for awhile. I just wanted to compliment you on the good attitude you seem to have toward the world. The world could use a lot more people like you. I don't think something like that should go unnoticed :) .
Whether you like it or not, gay and lesbian rights are increasing and will go nowhere. Humans also believed at one point that blacks and women were inferior and did not deserve rights. We are now starting to realize that gays and lesbians deserve rights and are not inferior humans. This whole debate over gay and lesbian rights is just another evolution in human rights.
I could care less whether or not gays are allowed to have children or not, all I know is that traditional family values are so lost in time now and it's so sad. Gone are the days when a man would love a woman, propose, argue, and grow old with each other on their porch. I just hope that that doesn't have to be the case with me because I want to get married once and grow very, very old with my husband.
Until someone shows via scientific evidence that being raised by gay parents has some type of overwhelming (over 50%) chance of harming a child, I will always vote yes for letting gay couples adopt kids.
I've got to believe that there are gay couples who have raised a child to turn out to be completely straight! I don't think that's farfetched at all. As long as they are a positive addition to our society and not some crazy high-school shooter, than I think it's a good thing.
And the question isn't whether or not we think God approves of something. We have to decide if we want the government to give people the option to utilize their power of freewill and make that choice. Now with murder ... obviously we don't want to give them the option (or make strict punishments for taking that option.) ... But for gay marriage!!! Really???
Unfortunately it's the innate evangelism that plagues almost every religion which says that you are guilty for letting other people sin. That is utterly ridiculous. Why focus on 'redeeming' gays, when the are so many other legitimate ways to help our world. Sorry for rambling. I'm done.

I'm a normal girl. I want to get married, I want to have children, a puppy, a nice job and a good home for us all to live in. I want a happy, full love love life. And theres a chance I may not have that. I'm a lesbian. I can't legally be married. And in some states, I can't legally adopt children. I don't see why not. Love is love. I'm not sorry that I can't change who I love, I'm only sorry that people can't look past my sexuality and see the person that I am.

Why are we fighting amongs ourselves over this gay things?
Why don't we give every thing to God to answers for us if we really want to know?
Why don't we let God juged among us?
When is there going to be peaces and faith on earth? Where do we want gay people to be if not on earth with the reast?

In my life I hope to see society move past simple tolerance and openly welcome acceptance. All forms of bigotry are reprehensible.
