What a tricky situation. Lots of people have religious reasons for refusing procedures like surgery or blood transfusions. Jahovah's witnesses, for example, can't accept any blood even if it will save their lives. Such a controversial topic!

I am not sure because she is so young. When I was thirteen I made lots of stupid mistakes. In her case she does not have the opportunity to change her mind. If she were an adult my answer would definitely be yes.

I answered this poll with Yes, only because that's what she wants. I'm sure this was a super hard decision for her. I'd go crazy if that were me. But anyway, it's her life, and if that's what she wants, then what else is there to do?

I said yes because she SHOULD be in charge of her life. It is a free country and she should be able to choose what she wants to do. I don't think the Constitution says anything about suicide. So if she has her reasons, then she should be able to choose.

If she was 18 then she would be a legal adult and she could do whatever she wanted, however, she is a minor and her parents/legal guardians should make the decision.

She has every right to want to live her life out with dignity, and leave it in God's hands. Good for her. Doctors have been wrong before.
