Action Tips: Start a Thank You Note Chain
Sometimes a simple "thank you" can improve someone's self-esteem and mental health, even if its for the day. Send a "Thank You" note or card to three people who have made a positive difference in your life.
- Open with a thank you.
- Be specific. Why are you thanking this person? Use a specific story or helpful thing that they give you.
- Upon closing, tell the person to think of three people they would also like to thank, and ask them to do the same.
