How To: Set Up a Carpool to School

Tweet [1]

A simple way to help reduce energy consumption is to carpool places. As long as everyone is committed to the following points, your social-ride will be successful.

  1. Organize your riders. Figure out who wants to participate.
  2. Map out a route. Order people will be picked up each morning and dropped off each evening. Remember, each day will require a different driver and a different order of pick-up and drop-off.
  3. Post the schedule. Make the schedule available for every rider to see in an online space (like a Facebook group).
  4. Send a reminder. Each night send a text reminding tomorrow's driver.
