American Idol Adam Lambert may be busy basking in the post-Idol fame and fortune, but not too busy to take the time to fight for arts in education.

Adam teamed up with Donors Choose to get art supplies, scripts, musical instruments and other parts of arts education into schools with the hope that kids will get the same opportunities that helped launch Adam to super-stardom.

And he hopes his fans will get in on the act: "My fans have been so amazing in their support that I would love for them to contribute to something I believe in. Every kid deserves a great education and access to the materials and experiences that make it possible."
