via fadedyouthblog.com
Not only is Bono a fabulous musician and a caring activist, he's a gardener, too! Bono planted saplings on Odaiba, a man-made island in Tokyo Bay, as part of the Green Island Project. The Project is part of a government environmental initiative in Japan. To recognize Bono's work in eliminating poverty, Keio University gave him an honorary doctorate. [1]
