Celebs honor everyday all-stars

Charlize Theron

Did you catch the Major League Baseball All-Star game this week? Because Ben Affleck [1], Salma Hayek [2], Matthew McConaughey [3], Charlize Theron [4], Sheryl Crow [5], Julia Roberts, and Harrison Ford all did! The Hollywood A-listers appeared in a special video tribute in a celebration of the All-Stars Among Us [6] campaign. Since 2009, the campaign recognizes individuals who take on leadership roles in improving their communities.

Each celeb honored a unique winner in the charity campaign. These all-stars among us share one thing in common: they take initiative in inspiring change. Among the winners were the founders of various organizations, including The Let It Be Foundation [7], Enchanted Makeovers [8], The Simpson-Baber Foundation [9], The Mission Continues [10], and Crossing the Finish Line [11], which all tackle an array of causes from fighting cancer and empowering women's rights, to alleviating hunger.

Check out the full list [6] of this year’s all-star winners. What’s your thing? [12] Join the all-stars and do something about it [13] today.
