Bernadette Peters, star of tons of Broadway shows such as Annie Get Your Gun and Into The Woods, along with old-school movies like The Jerk(with Steve Martin- it's hilarious!), and a winner of two Tony awards and multiple Grammys, is writing a book. The story stems from the foundation of her charity, Broadway Barks [1], with Mary Tyler Moore. The organization has created a community of animal adoption shelters and given them support, as well as throwing an annual start-studded benefit. Bernadette is donating all of the proceeds from the book to animal rescue shelters.
