Kate Winslet starts new charity

Kate Winslet has founded a charity benefiting people with Autism!

The Oscar winning actress was inspired after watching A Mother's Courage: Talking Back to Autism which tells the story of an Icelandic mother's fight to find a way for her non-verbal 10-year-old son to communicate.

The Golden Hat Foundation [1] will give those with autism the opportunity to get an education, receive job training, and most importantly learn to communicate!

“It makes me incredibly proud to work on this effort to bring awareness to the plight of people with autism,” says Kate.
